Artists: the good news is that any note you pluck, move you make, rock-face you sketch, is changing the world definitively and irrevocably. So you don't need to worry about that.

There is a vibrational tone that each thing occupies in any particular place and time - it is the "doing" that poets talk about in terms of bells, often - the note each thing is called to clang and cannot but. A frequency, a channel, a path to go down - but I think the closest descriptor is "tone" - it is about music; sound; vibration. Sound and light are those physical but immaterial things - they straddle solid and ether, are both and neither, it's why light and sound are said to be the most god-like.
